This lovely 8-inch Franciscan Forget Me Not salad plate is rendered in the stoneware body — clusters of sculpted blue forget-me-not blossoms with sunny yellow centers trail along raised green stems and broad leaves against a creamy embossed basketweave ground, all framed by a fresh green rim band. Originally a retailer return/discontinued piece, it presents in excellent vintage condition and is a wonderful addition to any Franciscan collection or cottage-style table. The stoneware body gives it a satisfying heft and durability that collectors appreciate.
