A true garden in porcelain, this exuberantly hand-painted plate bursts with a lush central bouquet of pink roses, blue forget-me-nots, purple asters, yellow blooms, and red buds cascading on green stems — all encircled by three concentric bands of gilded fern and chevron motifs, between which scattered multicolor floral sprigs continue the romantic profusion. The scalloped rim and warm gold edge lend this piece a grand, continental character that collectors adore.
