Twin gold handles with white stripe inlay flank a deep round bowl ringed in double cobalt blue bands and a gilt rope-twist border, while the domed lid is crowned by an extraordinary scalloped fan finial and encircled by a hand-painted garland of pink roses, blue anemones, yellow tulips, and orange blossoms.
