Vintage Myott Staffordshire England Medici Square Plate [5882]

A striking vintage square plate by Myott, Staffordshire, England in the elegant Medici pattern (Reg. No. 834634). This piece showcases the Renaissance-inspired design that made Myott a beloved name in English earthenware.

The wide border features a rich periwinkle blue ground adorned with cream and gilt scrolling acanthus leaves, fantastical birds, and floral motifs — a nod to the opulence of the Medici court. The center well is off-white with a delicate polychrome fruit and floral medallion. The plate has a distinctive scalloped square shape, approximately 9 inches across.
