A charming piece of English ceramic history — this Vintage Royal Staffordshire "Tonquin" Sugar Bowl with Lid by Clarice Cliff features the beloved purple/mulberry transferware pattern depicting an Asian scenic landscape with pagodas, swans, bridges, and lush botanicals. The scalloped edges and footed base add elegant form to this functional collectible.

The backstamp reads: "Tonquin" Royal Staffordshire Burslem by Clarice Cliff, Made in England.

Please note: Both the sugar bowl and its lid have been repaired.
