A wonderful piece of collegiate history, this Vintage Wedgwood ashtray features a striking pink transferware scene of Lord Jeffery Amherst on horseback — the iconic mascot and namesake of Amherst College in Massachusetts. The richly detailed equestrian portrait is framed by a beautifully embossed scrollwork border in classic white, with four rest notches on the rim. A standout display piece for any Amherst College alumnus or transferware collector.
