A striking piece of Wedgwood heritage — this is the lid (top half) of an oval egg-shaped trinket box, crafted in the iconic Wedgwood Blue Jasperware, Made in England. The powder-blue stoneware ground is adorned with a beautifully sculpted white relief of a majestic owl perched on a gnarled branch, rendered with exceptional detail in the neoclassical Jasperware tradition.

The border features a crisp white rope-twist design, and the side carries a delicate laurel wreath with a small oval medallion — hallmarks of Wedgwood's finest decorative work. The interior is smooth pale blue. Please note this listing is for the lid only — the base is not included.
