The Directoire pattern is a striking neoclassical design featuring a vivid polychrome fruit basket transfer — brimming with lush botanicals — displayed in the saucer center, surrounded by a wide yellow stippled dot band framed by crisp brown line borders on a clean white ground. The backstamp confirms its American export heritage, bearing U.S.A. Patent No. 52,078 alongside the classic Wedgwood Etruria England stamp and the French Importé d'Angleterre designation.
