The wide rim is encircled with a procession of winged griffins, mythical lions, and acanthus scrolls rendered in striking black transferware on a crisp white ground, finished with a lustrous gold rim. Approximately 4.5 inches in diameter, these ashtrays are as beautiful displayed on a shelf as they are used as decorative catchalls. Sold as a pair.
