A charming piece of English transferware heritage, this Johnson Bros Ironstone plate features the beloved Coaching Scenes pattern in rich cobalt blue on crisp white ironstone. The center depicts a spirited horse-drawn carriage in full gallop through the English countryside, framed by an exuberant border of scrolling florals and latticework. The scalloped edge adds a graceful finishing touch that speaks to the craftsmanship of traditional English pottery. Made in England.
