There is something quietly captivating about this Rosenthal Pompadour Moss Rose plate — clusters of deep crimson rosebuds, their calyxes still mossy and green, trail across a luminous off-white ground alongside delicate pale blue sprigs. The deeply scalloped rococo rim with its embossed beading gives the piece a sculptural presence that elevates it well beyond the ordinary. Marked with the early Rosenthal crown backstamp, this is a piece with genuine heritage and collector appeal.
